The best way to know Sydney is taking a walk around the city. There are heaps of awesome things to do all within just 2 hours of downtown. We reckon two of the best are checking out Bondi Beach, killing time at Sydney Opera House.
Bondi Beach: This walk is relaxing, and it takes just over an hour each way. We made our day of it watching the sparkling Pacific ocean, and the never-ending stream of Aussies stroll by. It goes without saying that this place is the most famous beach in Australia. The first impression seems like a bit of letdown, but the pretentious way of this beach got our attention quickly.
Opera house: Sydney Opera House is one of the most popular sightseeing in Australia. It's the main postcard of Australia. After that, we spent some time in the Botanic Garden. It's spotless. The Rocks is also a good option to walk.
Blue Mountains: One day really isn't enough to enjoy and savor everything on offer in the World Heritage Blue Mountains National Park. It's a region that you can see native wildlife. We walked in a little tracking from 10 minutes to 20 minutes. The name of the place is Scenic World. In a quick walk, you can see the lush rainforest and then the iconic rock formation of the Three Sisters. We also went to Jenolan Caves on the same day. It's not worthing doing it. It was exhausting, and we didn't have time for lunch. After while it was a nightmare.
To sum up, Sydney is an excellent place to go, but the main limitation is money. Everything costs an arm and a leg, and you must select the areas you really want to go.
If you are traveling in Australia, you will fell the difference in the way of people talk to you. In comparison to the rest of Australia, people who live here are much less friendly.
