Noosa Heads

Noosa Heads is located in the north of Brisbane.  It takes 3 hours drive from Brisbane, and I think the best way to go there from Brisbane is renting a car.

The Noosa River forms one boundary of the town, the headlands of the Noosa National Park another. Nearby are the suburbs of Tewantin and Noosa Junction, which create a continuous urban area at the northern end of the Sunshine Coast.

We rented a house for 3 couples. The house had a shared swimming pool with other homes and an excellent infrastructure. By the time I had been there, we enjoyed a lot.

Unfortunately, the weekend that we were there, it was raining, but the place looked perfect.  Noosa is the tourist place with many restaurants and hotels. The main street is Hastings Street, which lies directly behind the seashore. Noosa Heads' main attraction is its beaches. Its main beach and its small bays around the headland are familiar surfing locations.
