Anyway Byron Bay lived up to my expectations. The city is well-organized and clean. There is a harmony between nature and tourism infrastructure.
Additionally, the beach is fantastic, and the waves are perfect for surfing.
Regarding food, I think we chose the wrong place to eat. The food was expensive, and the quality was not good. Might be that we had bad luck on that day. I would love to remember the name of the restaurant but unfortunately, I can't.
There is a lighthouse, Cape Byron Lighthouse, in the north of the city that you can take amazing pictures. It's worth staying there for a while.
Furthermore, there is a small beach called "Wategos Beach" that you can chill out and enjoy the day. I spent almost all my day in this beach. It's a walking distance from the lighthouse.
In the middle of the city, there is a Baskin Robbins ice cream. It's the best ice cream in Australia. Delicious !!!
During the high season, I advise you to book some accommodation before. Our original plan was staying there just one day, and we changed our program at the last minute to keep up the weekend. It was tough to find somewhere to stay.
In conclusion, our evaluation of Byron was very positive.
When I came back to Brisbane, I stopped in Crystal Castle. It is a mystical place to practice meditation. Crystal Castle offers an enchanting experience. Wandering the magical gardens of mystic statues, walking the ancient labyrinth or looking at rainforest are ways of enhancing your spiritual connection with your aura. The garden has statues of Buddha and symbols of Bhudism. The middle of the garden is a prominent place for meditation. I felt such a pleasant sensation of peace in this area.
